New Patients
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! We welcome new patients of all ages. We can often accommodate same-day or next-day appointments. Please schedule here. If you don't find a convenient appointment time online, please call or text our clinic at 503-282-8582. We frequently have additional appointment times available that may not appear online.
Do I need a referral?
No. Most patients can schedule directly with one of our chiropractors, massage therapists, or acupuncturists without a referral. VA patients are an exception and require a referral from their primary care provider.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit includes a thorough health history, consultation, examination, and recommendations for care. In most cases, treatment is provided during your first visit if your provider determines it is appropriate.
How long is my first appointment?
New patient appointments typically last 45–90 minutes, depending on your health history and the type of appointment you've scheduled. Follow-up visits are generally much shorter.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card (if we will be billing your insurance), and any recent X-rays, MRI reports, or other medical records that may help us better understand your health concerns and goals.

Chiropractic Care
What conditions do you commonly treat? Our providers commonly help patients experiencing:
|
|
Is chiropractic care safe?
Yes. Chiropractic care is a well-established healthcare profession. Before beginning treatment, your chiropractor will perform a thorough examination to determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for your individual needs.
Do you care for infants and children?
Yes! Our chiropractors provide gentle, age-appropriate care for infants and children. Our youngest patients typically see Dr. Megan Ziskovsky or Dr. Kristen Castillon, who have a specialty in pediatric care. Many families appreciate having a practice where everyone—from newborns to grandparents—can receive care.
Do you treat pregnant patients?
Absolutely. Pregnancy places unique and changing demands on the body, and many expectant mothers find chiropractic care helpful for managing back pain, pelvic discomfort, and changes in posture throughout pregnancy. Chiropractic care may also help optimize pelvic mobility and comfort as your body prepares for birth.
Will I need X-rays?
Not necessarily. If imaging is needed, your chiropractor will explain why and help determine the most appropriate next step. We do not perform X-rays in our office, but if imaging is recommended we will refer you to a trusted local imaging facility.
How many visits will I need?
Every patient is different. Your treatment recommendations will depend on your condition, your goals, and how your body responds to care. We'll discuss our recommendations with you so you can make informed decisions about your care.
Massage Therapy
Can I schedule a massage without seeing a chiropractor?

Acupuncture
What conditions can acupuncture help with? Acupuncture may help support patients experiencing:
|
|
Your acupuncturist will discuss your health concerns, answer your questions, and help determine the best treatment plan for you.
What should I expect during my first acupuncture appointment?
Your first appointment includes a conversation about your health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Your acupuncturist will develop an individualized treatment plan, answer your questions, and explain what to expect before beginning treatment. Many patients find acupuncture deeply relaxing and are amazed by the variety of health concerns it can help address.
Do acupuncture needles hurt?
Most people are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable acupuncture is. The needles used are extremely thin—much finer than those used for injections or blood draws. Some people feel little to nothing when the needles are inserted, while others notice a mild sensation such as warmth, tingling, heaviness, or a dull ache. Many patients become so relaxed that they fall asleep during treatment.
How many acupuncture treatments will I need?
Every person and every condition is different. Some patients notice improvement after one or two visits, while others see the most benefit from a series of treatments. Your acupuncturist will discuss recommendations based on your condition and your goals.
