Dr. Michael Daglen was born and raised in the small town of Caldwell, Idaho. Being born into a medical family he had an early interest in health care. Just prior to college he was awarded a certificate of achievement from the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Boise State University with a major in Health Science and a minor in Psychology. Following his undergraduate education he started work as a service associate with a surgical implant distributorship, which allowed him a keen insight into surgeries such as: spinal fusion, total joint replacement, sports medicine, pain management and EENT. This experience coupled with a low back injury that was helped tremendously by his own chiropractor, led him to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Daglen has completed training in Graston Technique and is also a certified provider of the Motion Palpation Institute. Dr. Daglen is a graduate of the Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology program produced by the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Dr. Daglen is a life member of the United States Judo Federation and regularly teaches judo at the Sellwood Community Center to both kids and adults.
