Experienced in acute and chronic pain management, fertility and pregnancy care, and mental-emotional wellness, Dr. Alison welcomes you into the treatment room for patient-focused, evidence and experience based holistic care using acupuncture, cupping, and/or customized herbal medicine. Chinese herbal medicine is supportive care that may be used for ailments ranging from acute symptoms of stress to chronic disease management. Whether it is an easy to take capsule, a customized granule powder or a raw herb decoction, Dr. Alison works with you to find a balanced herbal blend to support your health concerns. ABOUT: Alison Loercher, DAOM, L.Ac (she/they) has been practicing acupuncture since graduating from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in 2008. After additional training in Nanjing, China and Seoul, South Korea she volunteered with the Acupuncture Relief Project in Chapagaun, Nepal before returning home to begin her practice in beautiful Portland, OR. Alison completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at OCOM in 2023. Dr. Alison believes that people of every age, size, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, income level, religion, and ability are entitled to high quality, customized and compassionate medical care. A member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community herself, she provides inclusive and affirming care. PERSONAL INTERESTS: When not practicing medicine, Alison is busy wrangling her toddler, planning her next trip, getting creative in the kitchen and watching life unfold in her garden. |
