Erin Cranford, LAc
Licensed Acupuncturist
"Our bodies are constantly seeking proper alignment and healing; we are built to heal. Acupuncture simply encourages and facilitates what the body is already naturally doing, in an uplifting and peaceful way." |
APPROACH:
As Erin Cranford, LAc continues to grow her skillset as an acupuncturist, her style has naturally evolved to focus on musculoskeletal issues and orthopedic acupuncture. Shoulder issues are especially compelling cases for her, as well as neck pain and low back pain (surgery sequelae, sciatica, SI joint issues, QL spasm, etc.). Additionally, Erin is drawn to mental health concerns: addiction recovery, CPTSD, insomnia, trauma release, etc. She also enjoys helping patients with IBS, GERD, and other internal medicine issues. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine has influenced Erin's own life in profound ways. She believes that in order to be a good practitioner, one must embody the medicine as much as they can. Since first starting her practice in 2019, she has continued to build up her own approach to healing. Daily meditation, body work, regular acupuncture sessions, healthy food, and good sleep habits are things she is always thinking about. She ascribes to the idea that to be able to help others heal, one must continuously do the work to heal themselves. She also understands that every person is a work in progress, and that "healing" is a practice! AREAS OF SPECIALTY:
